The Ultimate Family Traveling Checklist

Hi, Friends! I put this ultimate family traveling checklist to help you plan before your travels. Traveling can be daunting or stressful with kids, especially if it’s your first time, so hopefully this can help ease that stress! Make sure to tag me if you use it! Happy Travels!

Airplane Checklist

Carry-On Essentials

  • Phone chargers + phones
  • Snacks (applesauce pouches, goldfish, crackers, protein bars, veggie straws, pretzels, etc. + snack cups!)
  • Chewing gum
  • Empty water bottles/sippy cups
  • Carry- on bag covers for strollers/car seats ** our car seat bag is awesome! Steven & I both wore one on our back. This way your hands are free for your luggage/kids/stroller**
  • Blankets, pacifiers, lovey, stuffed animal (their comfort item)
  • Headphones
  • Tablets
  • Coloring supplies—we love the mess free color wonder markers/paper from Crayola. This way you don’t have to worry about any mess of makers 😉
  • Little toy cars, Barbie’s, dolls, trucks
  • Disinfectant wipes
  • Kleenex/tissue
  • Neck pillows
  • Money cards, ID’s, passports
  • Benadryl/Tylenol
  • Cash in $1s, $5s, and $10 bills for tips at hotels, car rental/ubers, dining/bars, etc.

Tip: If flying, download the app of the airline you are flying so you don’t miss any changes in the flight. We have missed a flight because of not being notified/checking once and it was awful!
