Water Park Fun At Mount Olympus

Another successful water park experience was had at Mt. Olympus in the Wisconsin Dells Water Park Capital of the World! We stayed at their main hotel, Hotel Rome, which made it super easy to walk to all the attractions. With having two little kids, we stayed mostly in The Great Pool of Delphi since it has the little water slide for toddlers and splash pad fun on the other side. Our oldest daughter had fun going on some rides. Those included the Kiddie Swing, Kiddie Bi-Plane, Balloon Ride, and Little Titans. If you have older kids (5 years and older) there are so many more options for rides! The most popular water attraction there is Poseidon’s Rage (video below).

Our Families Favorite’s

*The Great Pool of Delphi

*Kiddie Bi-Plane ride

*The Cabanas

*The mini slide inside the Great Pool of Delphi

*The outdoor water park area outside the “Indoor Water Park” near the back

*Starbucks and treats in the lobby

*Spacious Rooms for families

*Restaurants close by:

Hotel Rome at Mount Olympus

Favorite for breakfast: Denny’s Diner. They have so many fun little attractions for kids, and if they get squirmy like ours did, there is a water fountain right across the street with benches and you can get your food to go and eat there while your kids play with the water! 😉

Lunch: Dells Bistro, MACS (really good Macaroni and Cheese Shop–perfect if you have kids),

Dinner: Firebirds Wood Fired Grill–we both ordered a steak meal and it was REALLY good! They also had a very delicious chocolate dessert.

Food Attractions

There are several outdoor food attractions inside the theme park, including a really fun candy shop! They also have a little arcade inside the main hotel area, along with a bar and Starbucks coffee for your morning caffeine. All other food options you will find by driving. I listed our favorites above 🙂

The Rooms

They have several different room options. We stayed in Hotel Rome’s 1 Queen Bed & Bunk Resort Room. Sleeps up to four and came with your basic TV, mini fridge, microwave, and bathroom with tub/shower. They have bigger rooms and smaller ones depending on your families needs and size.

Our family had a fun time! It was a busy weekend when we were there, and traveling with two little kids can be a lot, but the memories we made and time spent away together is always worth it! Wisconsin Dells Water Parks are so fun, and if you live in the Midwest it’s a great spot to getaway with the family on a vacation! Much love,
